Cross Community Sport Development Workshop and Training Program
Deandra Farnita, Umair Asif and Derrick Charway who are 4th batch students of the Dream Together Master (DTM) recently participated in the Cross Community Sport Development Workshop and Training program which was jointly organized by Football 4 Peace (F4P) International, F4P Korea and Korean Sharing Movement (KSM). The workshop took place at the Seoul National University from 4th to 7th August, 2017.
The training program was attended by physical education teachers, students and community leaders who were taking through value based education, leadership and using sport as a tool for peace-building. At the end of the Training program, Deandra, Umair and Derrick were respectively awarded with Cross Community Sport Development Certificates.
Prior to Deandra, Umair and Derrick’s participation in the workshop, they have been volunteering for F4P Korea and KSM’s peace education through the sport program which engages Korean children (irrespective of their race, gender and abilities) on an equal platform of sport to teach them about diversity, fairness, inclusion and consideration.
